The first half of 2026 was a successful period for the development of our pheasant farm and the rearing of our stock. Pheasant rearing has been an important part of the Széchenyi Zsigmond Hunting Association’s wildlife management activities for decades. For this reason, we place particular emphasis on the continuous development of our facility and on providing suitable conditions for the birds.
The pheasant farm is not only an important foundation for our hunting activities, but also a key element of the Association’s long-term, independent wildlife management. The birds reared here play an important role in the management of our own hunting grounds, meaning that the work carried out at the farm directly contributes to maintaining and expanding our hunting opportunities.
During the first half of this year, development work continued alongside the ongoing rearing of the stock. Our goal is to ensure that the birds develop safely, under appropriate conditions, and to the highest possible standard. Careful rearing and suitable housing conditions are equally important in producing a healthy, strong stock that can adapt well to the natural environment of the hunting grounds.
When planning and implementing improvements, we are not only considering our current needs but also looking towards the future. More modern and efficient operations will enable pheasant rearing to continue providing a stable foundation for the Association’s wildlife management activities.
The first half of 2026 therefore marked another important step in the development of our pheasant farm. We will continue this work in the future, building on our traditions while striving for continuous improvement and renewal.
